I have just been watching Casualty, and for once the story line makes sense. For once it is not about which doctor is sleeping with a certain nurse. No it is taking on the the bureacracy and stupid government targets set by a bunch of civil servants who lets face it dont live in the real world, and set stupid targets.
This is across the board and many departments are going to be made to be self financing. So the enforcement agencies are going to be going out and picking on the easy targets, to get the fines in so they can finance these totalitarian organisations.
Now you put all the rules red tape and targets together and you get alot of contradiction, To achieve the targets you have to bend some rules, which puts the pressure on the operatives at ground level, causing them to leave that profession, through stress, and sheer frustration.
Lets look at health, now some departments have to have a high turnover of patients so those there is not a backlog of beds. You have doctors spending more time filling in endless reams of paperwork rather than looking after the patients.
In schools the pupils are just figures on a spreadsheet, and no wonder so many are being failed by the system. The kids are not figures on a spreadsheet, they are individuals with separate needs, the schooling system is conditioning for later in life. designed to instill discipline into their lives, but how can discipline be instilled when due to medelling and bureacracy people are afraid to say anything to those who cause trouble, why to they cause trouble, because the system that is educating them is not stimulating them in the right and productive way for that individual.
Then we have the industries affected by red tape, where there are directives for that and directives for that, and to properly function you have to bend rules, and the way the rules are written leads to differant interperations. I will give you an example, As all seasoned reader will know I work in the coach industry. now go to a coach park where there are say 30 coaches and if you go round and ask the drivers about rules and regs and you are going to get 30 different answers, and there are so many grey areas and confusion, it sometime makes to question is it all worth it.
Humans are individuals with different capabilities and abilities, we all have a different way of making sense and understanding things. I try to look out of the box and analyse things. I also hate systems that expect us to behave machine like, and if your opinion is different then you are an outcast.
Now I dont subscribe to conspiracy theories, what is the point, but I dont expect to be made to behave as a cog in a machine. Life is full of mavericks and it is the mavericks who make the changes for better or worst, and I respect those people, be it the inventors, scientists and political leaders who yearn for change to make it a better world. We live in hope. Yes I hate unnecessary red tape, corruption. I also hate legislated manipulation instigated by mass media, which spreads propaganda. To know the truth you have to look at both sides and tape information from alternative sources. Yes I am anti establishment but I dont want to smash the state, far from it.
Lets look at Israel, which was given to the jews after world war 2, because the western world felt guilty for the mass genocide caused by Hitler. but what they are doing in Gaza, is no better than the Nazis who persecuted them. Humans are naturally distructive.

Thursday 26th of May
Yes we are nearly halfway through the year and things have gone faster than last year, whereas last year lots of things all happened at once, this year has been a year to straighten things up, and sort out the aftermath.
We hear people aged 55-60+ harp on about how good the 60's were, but I dont remember them, I wasnt around. Year it may have been a revolutionary decade, were the Nation moved from an Austere country still getting over world war 2.
I am a baby of the 1970's thankfully I cant remember much from that decade, the year I was born saw punk being the in thing, with the Sex Pistols releasing the well known album, never mind the Bollocks, anthems such as anarchy in the UK and that well known Hymm god save the queen.
Yes a child of the 1980's but again I was too young to appreciate things, I grew up in the 1990's. we saw things move from analogue to digtial. technology really developed in this decade.
So forgive me if I look bored when people talk about how good the sixties were, yes they may have had a good time, but I was not around so dont really care.
As I write this, the sky is dark and grey, we have had showers today and maybe we might have a thunderstorm. I find thunderstorms fascinating, all that power and force, infact it hasnt been unknown for me to go out during one to try and find a strike. Having been close to a lighting strike at a young age, when a bolt hit the house next door, I suppose I would love to see and may photograph another one.
It is yet another bank holiday coming up, followed Autokarna, which promises to be a good day. Now in it fourth year, it makes a good day out with lots to do. I have took a few vehicles there myself, one year single handedly taking four buses and coaches there.
So what do I have planned for the next 6 months, well I am not sure to be honest, maybe improve my photography more. Although I would like to get a camcorder and make a film, do know why, I think it would be fun to do.
I know the dark nights will creep up on us all again, and we will be another year older. time to enjoy life more me thinks TTFN

saturday 21st May 2011
Ok, at 6pm, according to some bloke who died hundreds of years ago, we were all supposed to be taken away in a rapture, where the earth was to end, the sky would darken, and the four horse of the apocolypse would come and wreck havoc. What a load of crap, at 6pm I was in a coach on the M42, listening to radio 2. If the horsemen are here then bring it on and bring your mates. So we are still here, and Mother Earth has not shaken us off the planet like a good dose of flees, yet
It makes me laugh, all these people who spend their lives worrying about the about the afterlife, whether they go to heaven or hell. Well here is a wake up call. Heaven and hell is a state of mind, which we create for ourselves. All this sitting on a cloud with a harp surrounded by Angels or burning in a pit whilst being poked in the arse by a red devil holding a giant fork, is crap. Afterall a cat which kills a mouse, doesnt go to hell.
Now I am not denouncing religion, and I respect the people who hold religious views, no matter what they are, Spirituality also comes from within. There are still many things we do not understand and perhaps we never will do. So all I can say is lets enjoy our time while we are on this planet, and stop worrying about something we are yet to experience.
So we the leader of the IMF in prison accused of rape, no I wonder whether he might have been delibrately set up on this one, only time will tell, be it is yet another thing to keep the conspiracy theorists going. Talking of which they are still going on about Bin Ladens death, and the jokes are also going round too.
As for me, it is business as usual, even though last week I was doing alot of soul searching, well I am well in to my 30's now and still have lots to do in life. I have had some interesting experiences over the last 2 years through the efforts of other people, and last weekend I felt like I was loosing my mind, but I am picking myself back up and getting on with life. I have no plans for a relationship, or meeting anyone in that way, but I will welcome friends.
I am taking the world on, as I have lots to say and society has a good habit of kicking those who do not toe the line, the ones who think different, have their own opinions and refused to be manipulated by mass media, or crappy soap operas who dictate who us mere mortals live our lives. We are all unique and have alot to offer the world, The people who are in power will do all they can to stay in power, even if it means pugering themselves and lying in court. Put a begger on horseback and he/she will ride it all the way to hell.
So my outburst for tonight is basically me saying I am back and noone is going to keep me down, and a message to those who have shit on me from a great height, they can go and **** themselves.
Talk soon and TTFN I am back

It is a funny thing life, it throws alsorts of things at you, and when you least expect it something comes along which really throws things.
Life is a journey down an unknown road, for which there is usually no map, and we follow the road sometimes blind. The interchanges are usually the decisions we all make, those life changing occasions, and yes some times we take the wrong direction, but we keep going til we get to the point where we say bugger, wrong turn.
I have had lots on my mind, lots of questions. Where do I see myself in 1 years time? 5 years? 10? etc. We all look for quality of life, but how many people can say that we are happy? How many of us get to the self actualisation level in the hirearchy of needs? which was set out by Maslow.
How many people take time out from the hustle bustle of daily, where they get up, go to work and come home, to watch the tv loaded up with soaps, adverts trying to sell you things you dont need? I think very few indeed. We have all got to a certain point in our lives where we may have got jobs, got a house, a car, gone and got married and started a family. But we think, what do I want next? What do I want next? to be honest I dont honestly know.
Lets think about that one

Yes i am still here, Just had alot on recently. It was an interesting week where something was put to bed and hopefully for good this time, I am not going in to it now, save to say it there were many surprises and twists and turns, most of them unpleasant too. I will talk about it indepth on another occasion, or you can read about it in the book I am writing.
It has been an interesting weekend, where I was driving the shuttle bus for the Diesel gala at both the Great Central Railway and the Northern operation, which is based at the Nottingham Transport Heritage Centre. I was running a shuttle service between East leake and Loughborough Central. naturally my camera seemed to jump in to the cab of the bus, and lots of pics were taken. A good time was had by all, which is what matters.
I am keeping it short and sweet this time. TTFN

The May Elections
We have had a local election, for people to sit on the local councils and a vote on the Alternative vote referendum, which I could not get my head round as it sounded like a load of complicated bollocks so I voted no. There is only one reason I went out to vote, and that was to justify my right to criticise those in power, although it was a close thing this year as I didnt get to the polling till the last 5 minutes of polling.
The schools have been back this so it has been early starts again, the kids seemed shell shocked on the first day of term, obviously the thought of going back to school has been traumatic, but by friday they were back to their boisterous selves.
Well the jokes about Bin laden have been circulating, but no footage, although someone had been trying to spread a virus by sending a link claiming to be footage of his death. I think the fishes have had their feed, but surely it is polluting the water by dumping such a peace of evil in to the sea. Apparently one of his suns was implicated in terroist acts and he was only 19. Just hope the mad mullers dont issue Jihad and launch another campaign of terror.
I am off to the Potteries bus rally tomorrow, which should be good. I am just happy to go along and take some pictures, the results should appear on my facebook page.

Bank holiday monday
I am going to be slightly controversal today, The news started off with news that Bin Laden is dead, he was taken out by a unit of the US special forces in a compound in Pakistan, 100 miles away from Islamabad. Jubilation is ringing around the country, that armed and used him nearly 30 years to fight the Russians in Afganistan. I am glad the man is dead, because what the tall bearded twat stood for was not Islam, it was a religious order in the name of Islam, in which he would rule like moses ruled the isrealites.
Whilst I think the man should have been captured and brought to trial, I dont think it would have been practical, due to the fact nature of the man, and his devoted brainwashed followers who would try and break him out. It is only a case of wait and see what reprocussions happen, by these people who in their heads are still fighting the Crusades, got news for you guys, (if anyone of you reads this), the crusades finished a 700 years ago. The death of the bearded one will surely raise him to martyrdom.
Whilst I have had some time off I have been looking at storys I came across a video of a guy in Soho Square, on the day of the wedding, singing " we all live in a Facist Regime" to the tune of yellow submarine by the beatles, only to have a load of rentamob lookalikes come and bundle him in the back of the van, while anyone who happened to be in that park at the time were effectively held hostage by the Metropolitan police. Well in that case the words of the song were true, and it was like scenes of 1970's Russia with people bundled away for not agreeing with what they were told to think. People are free to express opinions as long as it doesnt affect the staged wedding of a load of imbreds whose family took the country by force nearly a thousand years ago.
Well it is a case of sort the photos out, and put them on the site, but as the weather is still nice I might go out and get some more shots. TTFN

The second bank holiday weekend
Well the weekend started off with the Royal Wedding, which is an orchestrated fairy tale for adults, with live coverage from all angles of the route, when Westminster Abbey fills up with members of the imbred elite, celebraties, political leaders and dictators from rogue states who buy lots of arms off us so they can use them on their own people. Oh and I forgot the hundred or so invited mere mortals to sure that the Royals do care about their subjects. The whole specticle was there for people to wave their little flags and go ahhhh when the ring was placed on her finger.
I thought screw this and went out for the day, I found better things to. I decided to go and visit some off my other wedding avoiding friends. I was back to get ready for the school reunion, which was interesting as only 5 people from my year, ie those who left in 1994, were in attendance. Well it was cheap to get in but I thought I was going to have to get a bank loan to buy the drinks, a bottle of bud being £4 a pop. They must have a deal going as Smifnoff was on offer and that seemed to be the drink of choice. I had a good night.
Saturday dawned and it was off to work, and the enthusiasts running day, we did have some early morning visitors but they didnt want to pay to come in so they were waiting outside the gates like the paparazzi. A good day was had by all and everyone involved did the company proud.
Sunday came and after receiving some very bad news, I cant really go in to this at the mo, that is for another time. I decided that to take my mind off things I went to the Wollaton Park steam rally. I had to switch the camera to video mode, due to the compare on the showground, leaving his microphone on and being rather short of breathe. I found it hilarious, Please visit my youtube channel, Calumbus1411. So here I am Talk soon TTFN
